Happy May Day and International Worker’s Day!

Spring has blown into Colorado, and although we aren’t celebrating Labor DayExperiencePlus! cyclists take a break on the 3rd Annual Spring Ride like our office in Europe,  we are very excited to start the cycling season.  This past weekend we  hosted the 3rd Annual Spring Ride in Fort Collins and 100 people joined us for a 30+ mile ride and happy hour at the new “winery” Compass Cider.  We had a great day of cycling, socializing and fabulous weather (no wind!) – an excellent start to the cycling season.  You can see photos from the event here.

Although we are excited to start the European season, early planners will be interested in learning that we are posting prices for trips in South America for the late 2014/2015 season.   We are also offering a $200, per person, Early Booking Discount until July so if you are considering a tour down south – now is the time to book!  Read about this year’s new ExpeditionPlus! ride across South America in this month’s newsletter.

Also in our newsletter this month:

  • An article on Cremona, Italy: famous for its nougat and violins. There is a reason we start our culinary tour here, and if you are traveling between Milan and Venice,  it is worth a visit for foodies and violin aficionados alike.
  • Looking for a fast and effective way to do laundry on your next tour? Check out Julie Horton’s review of the Scrubba Wash Bag.
  • It’s asparagus season! Our recipe this month is a quick and easy recipe for roasted asparagus and hollandaise.
  • We are very excited to announce our 2014 Send A Teacher Traveling winner.  You can read more about her in an interview below.  If anyone knows a deserving teacher, we are now accepting 2015 applications – learn more about our SATT program.

As usual, please send us any comments, concerns, dream trip ideas, or feedback you may have, and we hope to see you soon.
