Dear Travelers,donkeys_corsica

Whether you have already joined us on a ride this spring, are planning to join us later this summer, or still dreaming about where to cycle next, we hope this month includes some beautiful bicycle rides and interesting travel destinations. If you need inspiration on where to ride, check out the real time Instagram photos our Tour Leaders and guests are posting from the road. If you post any photos be sure to use our fancy hashtag #BikeExplus.

If you are still trying to decide where to go this year we’ve recently guaranteed a few new dates including trips in Croatia, Loire Valley and Sicily. We’ve also posted most of our trip dates in December, January and February for Chile and Argentina. If S. America is calling, now is the time to secure your reservation and get an Early Booking Discount!

In Colorado we celebrate bike month in June instead of in May (fewer chances of snow storms!) For those of us in the Colorado office who aren’t on tour, our favorite bike month activity is hosting the Bike To Work Day breakfast station. If you are in Fort Collins, don’t forget to come find us at our shared breakfast station at the Fort Collins Food Co-Op (250 E. Mountain Ave) on Wednesday, June 25th – we’ll be there from 6:30 – 9 am!

We have a selection of great articles this month’s Rambler. We hope you enjoy them and to see you on the road soon.

Aroudn the World on Two Wheels

To mark the first departure of our Paris to Lyon Plus! Marseille ride we thought we’d republish ExperiencePlus! founder, Paola Malpezzi Price’s review of Peter Zheutlin’s book about his great-great aunt, Annie Londonderry. Annie took the wager to circle the globe in 15 months back in 1894 and inspired us to follow in her tracks.

Read more about Annie’s epic ride here.
