Ever since Rick and Paola (our founders) purchased their first bicycles from frame builder and retired Italian racer Mario Vicini in 1972, we've worked hard to make sure that our bikes will meet or exceed your expectations.  They may not be the titanium or carbon fiber frames that some of you are used to, but many people have told us that our bikes are far better than the one they ride at home!

Our goal is to provide you with a comfortable bike made of lightweight materials, equipped with high-quality components and appropriate gearing for the terrain you'll encounter on your tour.

A perfect fit and a smooth ride.
Like our tours, our bikes are just right – not flashy, fragile, cheap or heavy, but comfortable, efficient and well thought-out.

Our experienced mechanics keep our bikes tuned perfectly, but tuning is only half the equation.  When you sign up for a tour, you'll be asked for your height and leg length so that our fit experts can provide you with the best bike for your body.  As soon as you arrive for your tour, our bike fit experts will make sure that your bike fits comfortably and operates smoothly.  All of our bikes are equipped with adjustable-angle handlebar stems so that the fit can be fine-tuned to your needs.

We take great pride in our bike fleet.  It’s based at our operations headquarters in Italy – on our family farm, where we house hundreds of bicycles and our staff of mechanics.

What bike should you choose?
Pick a bike that is similar to the bike you are used to riding at home.  Some people ride road bikes; others ride hybrid bikes.  The bike you select for your trip with us should be the one you are most comfortable with!
