A Leisurely Morning . . .

In June, somewhere between Venice and Pisa.

Wake up leisurely and come down to breakfast – between 7:30 and 8:30, usually. Your tour leaders will be downstairs at breakfast with the master map.  This is a great time to mark your map and ask any questions you may have about the day’s ride.

Relax over breakfast.  Have another cup of cappuccino, read your Daysheet (which you received last night), and get excited about stopping at the olive oil tasting at the COOP just 15 km up the road. Okay, let’s start thinking about hitting the road…

If we are heading to another town this evening, we’ll ask for your luggage by about 9:00 or 9:30 so the van can begin to load. You’ll probably see the van soon on your way to the small fishing village of Comacchio, or the Medici Villa just 7 km out of town on top of that beautiful Tuscan hill (why are these Villas always on top of the hill?!).

Leave whenever you’re ready.  There’s no pressure – and no parade of riders.  This is not a race.  You’re free to leave anytime after breakfast, because one of your tour leaders left earlier this morning to mark the route!

Now it's time to follow the arrows...

The breakfast buffet will quickly fill you up.

We'll have the master map out to mark in the morning

When you want, you can head out on your ride - enjoy your day!
