These are bike tours for advanced cyclists and intermediate cyclists seeking a challenge. Less experienced cyclists may enjoy these trips, but they are likely to shuttle frequently or to make their friends pay for the trip!

an average of 10-12 riding days (with the exception of Costa Rica)
average daily mileage of 40 miles
cumulative climbs of over 3,000 feet on at least one third of the riding days
