    1. Day 1: Fort Erie & Niagara Falls

Highlights: Bike fitting, transfer to Fort Erie, Niagara Falls, wine reception and welcome dinner

Meet at 10:00AM in Buffalo for a group transfer across the Niagara River to Fort Erie, Ontario. Cycle the Niagara River Recreation Trail as it follows the Niagara River from its source, Lake Erie, to Victoria Park overlooking spectacular Niagara Falls. It is a unique experience to ride a bike to this powerful natural landmark. Transfer to the quiet village of Jordan, named by Toronto Life as one of the prettiest villages in wine country. Enjoy a private wine reception before dining al fresco on the patio of the Inn's renowned restaurant. (20 miles)

    2. Day 2: Wine Country & the Niagara Escarpment

      Highlights: Niagara Escarpment, winery visits

This morning's bicycle ride begins atop the Niagara Escarpment, named a World Biosphere Reserve by the United Nations for its rare and diverse ecosystem. This landform plays a significant role in the microclimates of the Niagara Peninsula, making Canada's largest grape-growing region uniquely suited to producing fine wine. Visit several wineries located "on the bench" to taste, have lunch, and learn more about winemaking. Tonight, dinner is at one of Canada's top restaurants. (25 - 28 miles)

    3. Day 3: Wine Making and the Welland Canal

      Highlights: Niagara-on-the-Lake

Begin the day with a lovely ride through picturesque farmland. Enjoy an in-depth tour of our favorite family-run winery where you will learn the interesting details of how their wine is made and have the opportunity to sample several varieties before lunch on the patio. Cycle a bike path that parallels an important waterway where ships traveling between Lakes Ontario and Erie pass through a series of locks. Tonight, dine with the group in Niagara-on-the-Lake, the prettiest town in Canada. (17- 45 miles)

    4. Day 4: Icewine and Niagara-on-the-Lake

Highlights: Wonderful bike ride, enjoy the slew of things that Niagara-on-the-Lake offers

Bicycle along shaded lanes lined with classic homes as you wind out of town into the miles of vineyards and orchards that blanket the region. This afternoon, you will have time to pursue personal interests from the myriad of options in Niagara-on-the-Lake such as a scenic cruise up the Niagara River or a thrilling jet boat ride. The internationally acclaimed Shaw Festival offers daily productions and the downtown area is full of interesting shops and restaurants offering endless choices for lunch and dinner, both of which are on your own today. (20 miles)

    5. Day 5: The Niagara River Recreation Trail

Highlights: Cycle a paved path, a fabulous final dinner

Follow this paved path as it winds south out of town following the Niagara River. The unusual green color of the water in the Niagara River in this section below the Falls is noticeably different than it is above the Falls due to the tons of minerals scraped off the rocks as the water passes over the Falls. Visit the Botanical Gardens. Our dinner restaurant's chef/owner is recognized the only regional chef to earn the prestigious 4-Star Rating from Toronto Life Restaurant Guide. (25 - 31 miles)

    6. Day 6: Wineries of Distinction

      Highlights: Lake Ontario

This morning's ride leads along the shores of Lake Ontario as you ride past lovely homes toward the countryside where houses soon give way to orchards and vineyards. Visit a highly-rated family producer whose wines are an outstanding example of the diversity and quality of wines other than Icewine that are being produced in the Niagara region. Visit town for lunch and some last minute shopping before we transfer you back to Buffalo and arrive at 4:00PM. (16 miles )
