Walking Fit with Therese Iknoian

 

Walking coach Therese Iknoian We've contracted with Therese Iknoian, author, exercise physiologist, and nationally known fitness expert to design a series of walking fitness programs to help you better prepare for your walking and hiking adventures. Therese is founder and president of the training information site Total Fitness Network. She is a nationally ranked race walker, has developed walking and training programs for companies such as Nike, Polar and StarTrac (where she developed the Trekking treadmill workout), and has taught thousands of people around the world the pleasures and benefits of walking. Her books include Fitness Walking, Walking Fast, and Mind-Body Fitness for Dummies, and she contributed the walking chapter to Precision Heart Rate Training.

 

Therese has developed five training programs for ExperiencePlus!, which can be combined as needed to provide the training for your chosen trip. Her thorough materials will supplement your knowledge and get you fit for walking or hiking.
