Laurent Vonna

Laurent Vonna was born and raised in Alsace, in eastern France.  He has an undergraduate degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Project Evaluation of Development Projects. The travel bug hit him early in life—Laurent has traveled extensively around the world (60 countries to date, and still counting). His everlasting curiosity for other cultures, gastronomy and ways of life also led him to live in South Africa and the United Kingdom for a few years. His interest in travel and exploration of other cultures makes him a natural tour leader: he’s led small group tours for Europeans in Africa as well as bus tours for North American students throughout Europe.  When he heard about the opportunity to lead a different kind of tour, Laurent was intrigued to try bicycle tour leading with ExperiencePlus! Although not a long-time cyclist, he is now converted to bicycling and bicycle travel. You’ll meet Laurent on one of our France tours in the spring, summer and fall season, but you won’t find him in Europe in the winter if he can help it! However, you can follow him on one of his small group tours to Africa...
