Lisa Merighi

While cycling around in China 2010 Lisa got the idea to turn a passion for cycling into a new career and become a bike tour leader. She was delighted to discover that the ExperiencePlus! European headquarters was a mere 7.7 km from her doorstep in Faenza. That makes cycling to work really easy!

An avid traveler, Lisa had the opportunity to live in the United States for seven years. She took a year off in 2010 to do a self-supported bicycling tour around Asia, a continent that she wishes to continue exploring. Having bicycled the Karakorum Highway, her bucket list includes the Pamir Highway and the road between Manali and Leh in Ladakh, India.

Lisa earned a Bachelor's in Art History at the University of Bologna and a Master's degree in Museum Studies at the University of Southern California. When she is not traveling, she enjoys cooking and baking for her friends. Lisa leads tours and does other creative work for ExperiencePlus! in Italy.
